Three members of the HAIGHANA team (Dr. Appiah-Korang Labi, Dr.Gifty Sunkwa-Mills and Dr.Ama Fenny) delivered three oral presentations at the national patient safety and healthcare quality conference held at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana between 17^th September and 19^th September 2019. The conference was on the theme “No Quality, No Coverage. WASH-IPC in all Healthcare facilities now”

The titles of the presentations were “Carriage and transmission dynamics of multi-drug resistant Gram negative bacteria in neonatal intensive care units in Ghana”, “The cost and extra length of stay of neonatal sepsis-A prospective Case-Control study at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra, Ghana.”, “Healthcare associated infections in Ghana, involving patients and lay caregivers in infection control interventions”.
