Two members of the HAIGhana team (Dr Appiah-Korang Labi and Dr. Stephanie Bjerrum) presented 2 poster presentations at this ECCMID 2019 conference held in Amsterdam between April 13^th -16^th.

The abstracts were titled “External carriage and molecular characterisation of multi-drug resistant Gram negative bacteria in two neonatal intensive care units from Ghana: A cross sectional survey” and “Clinical characteristics, treatment outcome of suspected neonatal sepsis: a prospective study from a tertiary neonatal intensive care unit in Ghana”
